The HipHugger is adjusted to fit the parent by means of the ADJUSTING RING -- a simple steel ring that slides over the shoulder strap and is secured in place by two metal pins. The shoulder strap is usually adjusted only once to fit the parent using the HipHugger. The strap is adjusted with the child NOT IN THE SLING. The clip can be located in front, in back or at the shoulder on both right and left-handed parents. A key feature of the clip is that, once adjusted, the seam is virtually invisible. There are no clunky buckles, clips or hardware to deal with. This further accentuates the designer fabrics and keeps the HipHugger sleek, stylish and slimming.
The HipHugger is adjusted to fit the child by means of the signature DRAWSTRING, which runs across the back of the seat and can be pulled tight in two directions. This simple cord allows the mother to easily adjust the child's seating position and angle of recline. Using this design provides the most flexibility and comfort with the least bulkiness.
