The SHAPE of the HipHugger may appear simple but, like a fine-tailored suit, it has been precisely calculated. The HipHugger is adjusted to fit the parent by means of the ADJUSTING RING -- a simple steel ring that slides over the shoulder strap and is secured in place by two metal pins. The shoulder strap is usually adjusted only once to fit the parent using the HipHugger. The strap is adjusted with the child NOT IN THE SLING.
